
Highwood Crossing Everyday Salad Dressing
Preparing your own vinaigrette allows you to control the flavour as well as the fat content and is less expensive than store bought dressings. This is our family’s staple dressing.
3 tablespoons Highwood Crossing Flax Oil
3 tablespoons Highwood Crossing Canola Oil
2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar or white balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon Shallot, minced or garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Combine the above ingredients in a small glass jar or cruet and shake well. Refrigerate and use within 1 week.
